On April 19, 2025, a meeting of the International Advisory Board (IAB) of the Nazarbayev University Graduate School of Business (NU GSB) was held in Astana, focusing on the development and potential restructuring of NU GSB. BK Energy Limited (Private Company), a subsidiary of TechnoGroupService LLP, has received support from the Astana International Exchange (AIX) for the issuance of green bonds to finance the construction of a 20 MW solar power plant.

The project is currently in an active phase: the design and estimate documentation has been completed and approved by the state expertise, all necessary permits have been obtained, and a 20-year power purchase agreement with annual tariff indexation has been signed.

The use of market-based financial instruments, including partnerships with the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) and DAMU Entrepreneurship Development Fund JSC (currently under discussion), will enable the project to be implemented in line with international best practices for sustainable financing.

This initiative aligns with the 2024–2033 Development Strategy of Baiterek National Managing Holding JSC, which is aimed at stimulating environmentally friendly investments and the development of high-tech industries in Kazakhstan.
